Shed Field Wiffleball League Rule Book
Section 1: Equipment
· Only Official Wiffle® Balls will be used.
· Balls may not be scuffed intentionally, any player caught scuffing balls will be ejected from the game.
· Use of the original yellow bat will be highly encouraged, though other bats are legal after Commissioner’s approval.
· Baseball gloves may be worn in the field, but are not necessary
· All other equipment is subject to approval from the Commisisoner
Section 2: The Field and Shed Field Ground Rules
· The distance from home to the pitching mound is 38 feet.
· Any ball hit off the Shed may be caught for an out.
· Any ball that is hit and lands in fair territory is a fair ball. Any ball that rolls into fair territory is fair. Balls may bounce off anything and land fair, such as the basketball hoop, Shed, trees, etc.
· A ball hit under the fence is a ground rule double.
· A ball hit through the basketball hoop is a home run.
· A ball hit into the Shed is a ground rule double.
· A ball hitting the strike zone is a strike.
· A foul tip into the strike zone with 2 strikes is an out
· 4 balls is a walk, 3 strikes is an out
